Sue Potter is a research associate in the Research Department at ETR. She serves as project coordinator, analyst and/or data manager on various projects evaluating school-based health promotion programs in the areas of teen pregnancy, fitness, nutrition and comprehensive health education. She is particularly interested in evaluation methods and statistics, e.g. group randomized trials, and works with the department statistician on related projects. In addition to her primary project responsibilities, Ms. Potter has coordinated the development of and leads the Research Department’s Data Core. This group sets department standards for data management, trains new research staff who will work with project data, and provides technical assistance on all aspects of data handling to research staff and projects.
Prior to joining ETR in 2004, Ms. Potter coordinated the evaluation of Pennsylvania’s abstinence-only teen pregnancy prevention programs while working at the Pennsylvania State University, where she also earned an MS in Human Development and Family Studies.
